LIFE
LIVING WITH DIALYSIS
Starting life on dialysis can be a major adjustment, but it does not mean the end of independent living, and you do not have to make this journey alone. Your social worker will be there to help you every step of the way, empowering you to maintain an active role in your care. If you need help coping with the thoughts and emotions you may be experiencing with this change in lifestyle, you can rely on your social worker to provide the support you need. Your social worker is also an excellent resource if you have any questions regarding transportation, medical bills, counseling, or kidney transplants.
